Birchbox – Cath Kidston 2018

Birchbox – Cath Kidston 2018

April has to be one of my favourite boxes by far and it’s all about the make-up goodies. I’m yet to try the volumizing lift spray as I’ve had a cut and my hair is back to being rather short. It doesn’t need any lift right now…. you know what I mean.

I’m hoping that the rest of the year is going to reflect this beautiful box with the products being as surprisingly indulgent.

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Volumizing Lifting Spray £18.50

I haven’t yet used this spray as my hair is so much shorter and a lift would make me resemble Dierdre Barlow. It does smell yummy and Im sure its lovely to use.

I’ll be holding on to this for when my hair is longer.

Birchbox Brush Cleaner £5.00

I have been using Johnsons baby shampoo and the palm of my hand for years to clean my brushes. Using this cleaner has meant I use less product and it really clears up the bristles. I don’t know why I’ve never used anything before.

It’s well worth the £5 so if you haven’t got one head on over to Birchbox to purchase.

ModelCo Baked Blush – Froze £24.00

This. Is. Stunning! I recently published a post about Nip+Fab’s blusher palette and how I was branching out in using new products. This is exactly why I’m putting on my big girl pants and stepping out of my comfort zone.

The highlight in this blush in instagram worthy and the shade so flattering on anyone. It is a sample in this box and therefore is quite small but I think this is going to turn into a full size purchase.

Cath Kidston Hand Cream £4.00

This is such a pretty hand cream. The fragrance is delicate and the cream itself takes to your skin so quickly I have reapplied almost immediately a few times to make sure my hands are moisturized.

I’ll be using this in the evening but it hasn’t taken the spot of my Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream.

Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel – Brunette £8.60

I am obsessed with this brow gel. I’ve been using Rimmel London Brow This Way for about a year and a half and had come to the conclusion that no other eyebrow makeup could compare. Enter Beautaniq. I’ve used this for the last week and it is perfect.

I’ve applied this to my brows half asleep and has framed my face beautifully. It’s light, so easy to brush onto my brows and the shade is gorgeous (also not too dark which I’ve found gels to be before).

What did you get in your April Birchbox?

love as always,
