If your a reader of my previous posts you’ll know I’ve only really learned how to do my make-up in the last 3 years. I bared all in All About Me.
One of the first things I learned was to create a good even base. Im pretty sure I’ve got that down. The hardest for me was to learn eyeshadow blending and framing my face. I initially used a Rimmel contour kit and have now branched out. I finally tried Nip+Fab.
I only purchased these palettes in March whilst on sale in Superdrug and I am obsessed with them. Every single day I have been contouring which in my job (animal rescue and rehabilitation) is a rare sight to behold.
Nip+Fab Blusher Palette Blushed £8.95
I’ve needed a blusher palette for years and have never branched out and bought one. I’ve stuck to the same shade of blush for months at a time and haven’t experimented.
I always wear a soft coral on my apples for work. The pigment is just enough to give me a warm glow under the fluorescents at work. Evening I head for a rich plum whilst my days off are a soft pink.
As its not highly pigmented it allows you to build your color which for me is a godsend. I have to build up my colouring because if I go straight in with a statement blush I look like raggedy Ann.
Nip+Fab Highlight Palette Stroboscopic £15.00
I currently have what I lovingly call 3 chin syndrome. Having put on several pounds after returning to England and being able to purchase bacon and wine freely I need some help structuring my now chubby face. Once I had learned how to contour I have to do it everyday. This palette is perfect for the task. Hand on heart I haven’t yet used all of the palette, I tend to stick to a medium bronzer and the top left highlight. If I’m out for the night then I use the contrasting highlight (top right) around the orbital rim to make my eyes really pop.
If you in the market for some new palettes and you don’t want to spend a fortune then I would recommend these 2. I love both and am now having a closer look at the other products in the Nip+Fab line up.
What are your must have palettes?
Love as always,
